Meet The Staff
Amber, Jessica,Theresa, Dr. Fleming, Sheena & Stephanie
Sheena joined our team in 2011. She is the daughter of a dental hygienist and has been working in the dental field for over 15 years. Her Advanced Dental Hygiene degree was obtained from Oakland Community College in Michigan. One of the things Sheena likes most about her job is helping people and the constant interaction with patients. Sheena is committed to your health and most of all comfort. Outside of work she is a proud wife of a fire captain and two precious children. They enjoy staying active in fitness, traveling, working in the wedding entertainment business, and spending time with family.
Stephanie graduated from Trident Technical College in 2014 with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Additionally she is trained in pain management techniques and licensed in the state of South Carolina to administer local anesthesia. While attending Trident she participated in SCADHA. She is dedicated to providing compassionate patient care with a focus on managing oral overall health. Outside of patient care, Stephanie enjoy time with family, her two silly pups, gardening and sewing.
Jessica joined our team in November 2013 and is Dr. Fleming’s lead assistant. Jessica received her training and CDA at the Jordan Applied Technology College in Utah where she grew up. She has been in the dental field for over nine years and loves it. She enjoys many things about her job — she loves helping patients, meeting new people, loves the diversity of treatments we provide at Chucktown Dental, from a simple filling or crown to BOTOX®/fillers and always enjoys learning something new! She cares about the patient’s health, comfort and experience at the dental office and loves to see the patient smile as they leave. Outside of work Jessica enjoys spending time with family, going to movies and any kind of outdoor activity. She loves animals especially horses and her three adorable pups.
Theresa joined our team February 2015. She has over nine years of experience in the dental field and attended Trident Technical College Dental Hygiene Program. She is our Financial/Practice Coordinator. She provides our patients with explanation of their treatment plan and making sure they have a full understanding of their financial. She also makes sure that everything runs smoothly during our everyday routine. “What I love the most is seeing our patients leaving with a big smile after their visit to our office weather its dental or/and facial aesthetic services.” Outside of work she spends her time with her beautiful nieces, two adorable dogs and family. She also enjoys giving life to old furniture, turning an ugly duckling piece into a beautiful swan. When she has time she also enjoys outdoor activities and traveling.
Amber graduated from DATS as a CDA and has been in the dental field for four years. She joined our team April 2015 as our patient coordinator and dental assistant. She is a people person and she loves working with and learning about our patients. “The combination of working so closely with patients and the incredible opportunity to learn and grow makes this the perfect job for me.” After a day’s work, Amber goes home to her two beautiful little girls, where they reside in Moncks Corner.
Heather is a native Charlestonian. She joined our team seven years ago. She is our permanent part time dental assistant and front office. Heather is married with two children. She enjoys boating, fishing and working in her yard. She also enjoys spending time with her pet pig, dogs, cats and horses.
Born in NJ and 23 years in South Carolina our newest team member Faith is a Registered Nurse specializing in Aesthetics. Faith brings her knowledge of skin care and cosmetic procedures to our practice at Chucktown Dentistry. Her contribution to our practice includes offering our patients medical grade chemical peels, the latest technology in micro needling with and without protein rich plasma, dermaplaning, cosmetic injectables, Kybella, and much more. Faith believes patient input and education is of the utmost importance, including the patient in the planing to achieve skin care goals.
When Faith isn’t working she is enjoying her time with her husband and daughter and their nine dogs. Faith is a medical foster for injured and abused dogs for the Charleston Animal Society and Veterinary Specialty Care.
